Ladies and Gentlemen

Nowadays, success is achieved by those regions which opt for innovative management methods and which can exploit their hidden potential. In this respect, we must be - and want to be - in the forefront. This objective provides the operational bearing for the regions between the Baltic and Adriatic Seas.

Regional and national partners in the Central European Transport Corridor Initiative – has searched for specific solutions regarding transport and mobility management. Our principal objective is to ensure fast, safe, environmental-friendly and relatively cheap passenger and freight transport in Central Europe, and also to improve its competitive power. The new model of cooperation – European Grouping of Territorial Cooperation - between the partner regions will answer both contemporary and future challenges.

I hope that the form of the Grouping will even further contribute to the mutual understanding and Corridor management, and that we will become a partner for the ministries from six countries, as well as EU institutions.

Thank you for visiting our website.
